Wyoming Forever Publishing is a trade name of Wyoming Forever LLC. This page covers the shop at mykidsstorybook.com. A parent or other adult places the order. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us information, email support@mykidsstorybook.com and we will delete it.
Postal address: Wyoming Forever LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801.
What a parent provides
To personalize and ship a book, the adult who orders gives us the child's name, pronouns, and age, plus family details (names, roles, and pronouns for siblings and grown-ups), pet details (name, species, and breed or coat), a hometown, favorites, a dedication, and the story choices. A custom story also stores the text you wrote and the edited manuscript. We store the email, name, phone, and shipping address from checkout so we can send the receipt and the carton.
We do not collect photographs of your child. You choose how the people in the book look. A review may include a photo of the printed book, never of the child.
Who else processes it
We use these processors to run the shop:
- Stripe takes the card payment. We do not store the full card number.
- Lulu prints the book and receives the print files and the shipping address.
- Resend sends receipts, proof links, shipping notes, and, if you opt in, notes about new books and deals.
- Netlify hosts the site and may keep server logs of requests.
- Meta receives pixel events when the pixel is on. Those events can include a page view and, at checkout, a hashed email and the order total. The child's name is not part of that event.
A custom story stays with us until you approve the preview we email you.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
Shoppers do not get an account cookie. The workshop at /admin sets a sign-in cookie after a person on our side signs in. When a Meta pixel id is configured, the shop loads Meta's script, and Meta may set its own cookies to count visits. You can turn that off in this browser. The choice is stored in a cookie named mks_meta_pixel. You can also block connect.facebook.net in your browser, or use Meta's own ad preferences.
Deletion
To ask us to delete the personal information on an order, including the child's name, family details, and pet details, email support@mykidsstorybook.com. Include the email you used at checkout and the order number if you have it. We will also ask our processors to delete what they still hold for that order, where their tools allow it.
Questions about a book go through the contact form. Reprint and refund rules are on the returns page.
